What to expect

During the procedure, the aesthetician uses a hand-held device that releases blasts of very fine crystal particles onto your skin. These fine crystals are quickly vacuumed away together with the dead skin cells. You may experience a mild pressure while the blasting and suctioning are underway. Each treatment can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the area to be treated. After the session, the treated area may appear slightly red and mildly irritated, but this should dissipate soon.

A series of treatment (usually spaced at least two weeks apart) is recommended for most individuals as repeated sessions will yield maximal results.
