What Is A Cesaerean?

A C-section (also known as a cesaerean section) is the procedure of delivering a baby via an abdominal incision. The incision is made in the mother's abdomen and in the uterus to remove the baby. The mother either gets local (spinal or epidural) or general anesthesia. The recovery time for a cesaerean is usually longer compared to vaginal births - hospital stay is usually 4 days instead of 2.

Why Cesaerean Section?
