Growth Guide For Your Baby's First Year

As your baby becomes more active, he'll start to roll over and push himself up to look around him, or even crane his neck to turn towards the source of a sound. Hold him upright, and you'll notice he can now bear a little weight on his legs. He loves playing with his digits -- mostly by stuffing his fingers and toes into his mouth. If he wants your attention, he figures he can get it by making babbling sounds! He'll also start mimicking your gestures and sounds at this stage.
